This is an energy bar I actually look
forward to eating…
Bob Seebohar, MS, RD, CSCS, ultraendurance athlete, performance
director, coach and sports dietician talks about Perfect 10 Bars
| “As
a Sports Dietitian and competitive ultraendurance athlete,
I always look at health and performance benefits when considering
the use of a new energy bar. From a dietitian’s perspective,
Perfect 10 Bars are a perfect match for the health recommendations
that I encourage my clients to follow: increase consumption
of fruits and healthy fats. From an ultraendurance athlete’s
perspective, Perfect 10 Bars are a fantastic compliment to
my training program. Training for the Leadville 100 trail
run requires a structured nutrition plan that includes foods
that are easy to pack, eat and digest, provide sustained energy,
and do not freeze or melt. I have not found an energy bar
that is as good tasting and health and performance promoting
as the Perfect 10 Bar. In addition to eating Perfect 10 Bars
for my daily snacks, I also eat them during my long trail
runs and have not had any stomach or digestive issues or challenges
of eating them while running. The Perfect 10 Bars are easy
to carry, chew and digest which are important in training
runs of 4 or more hours. This is an energy bar that I actually
look forward to eating and one that is so nutritionally sound,
I feed them to my children!”
